AT&T’s new messaging interface on the Samsung Strive
What is so exciting about AT&T’s new messaging interface on the Samsung Strive?
The new messaging interface makes messaging easier than ever, more visually appealing, and more fun. The messaging menu is the place to go to send and view conversation texts, Instant Messages, and email; or check the phone’s voicemail inbox. Users can also set how they want to receive messages or check how much space messages on the phone are taking up – in case it’s time for a little cleanup.
AT&T’s new messaging interface presents all messages as conversations displayed within conversation/thought balloon graphics – a big plus for people who have different conversations happening at once. And, the phone literally walks users through everything. For example, let’s say a customer wants to send a text message to someone in their contact list:
Go to Menu > Messaging > Text > Select > Compose New Message, and press the center Navigation key.
Select Contacts and choose the recipient. Press Done.
Highlight the text screen and type the message.
To insert a picture, audio file, or video, press Insert and select the item to include in the message. Press Select.
Press Send.
The message, along with the graphic, will show up in a colorful conversation balloon.
When the recipient replies to the text, the message will appear in a new balloon graphic directly above the previous message. Everything’s easy and fun.
