  1. From the standby screen, insure that the USB mode setting is set to either PC Studio or Ask on Connection
     • For instructions on changing the USB mode setting, click here.
  1. Connect the USB cable to both the phone’s Power/Accessory Interface connector & the PC’s USB slot
     • When successfully connected, the phone will show the connected icon  on the top of the display
  1. If prompted, Select the PC Studio USB setting
  2. From the PC Studio media manager screen, click on the SGH-A877 icon  , located in the top right corner
  1. From the phone explorer screen (See image below) double click on the Pictures or Videos folder (Internal Memory)
     
  2. Click on the Photo/Video file (For multiple files hold down the Ctrl key) to highlight
  3. Right click then click either Copy or Cut (Ctrl C or Ctrl X)
  4. Double click on the media manager My Computer icon, located in the top left corner
  1. From the My Computer screen, open the destination location
  2. Right click in the box then click Paste (Ctrl V) to copy the Photo/Video file(s) from the SGH-A877 (Impression) handset to PC
  3. After the file transfer is completed it will be safe to remove the USB data cable from both the handset & PC

Lots of Samsung phones released in the recent for AT&T that has QWERTY keyboard. And the Samsung Impression follows the same as those others.  It incorporate Samsung Eternity’s form factor with a QWERTY keyboard mixed of the Samsung Rant. The body is constructed out of blue plastic with chrome accents found on the sides. The device feels solid with rounded corners which gives it right feel when you hold it. Although you’ll find it on the heavy side (5.3 oz), it may be best to be very careful when using it. You really don’t want to see the consequences from dropping this phone from such a height. It’s a little bit on the thicker side as well (0.61”) when you compare it to the Eternity, but it’s justifiable with the addition of the QWERTY.

Music player supports various music files formats, including music files and recorded sound files supported by Samsung mobile phones.

ok, here it is the steps to follow to reset at & t samsung impression to it;s factory default settings

To reset the handset, to the factory default settings, follow the steps below:
1)From the standby screen, press Menu
2)Press Settings
3)Press Reset Settings
4)Press on any of the following to check their boxes:

All: Sound Profiles, Display & Light, Phone and Alarm settings will be returned to default values
Sound Profiles: Only sound profile settings will be returned to default values
Display and Light: Only display settings will be returned to default values
Phone: Only phone settings will be returned to default values
Alarms: Only alarm settings will be returned to default values

5)Press Reset
6)Enter the password default password is “0000”, then press OK
7) If prompted, Enter the password again to confirm then press OK Press Yes to Reset the handset’s settings to the factory defaults

To enable or disable the Minute Minder feature follow the steps below:

1. From the standby screen, press Menu
2. Press Settings
3. Press Calls
4. Press General
5. Press Call Status Tones
6. Press Minute Minder to check or uncheck the box
7. Press Save to keep the Call Status Tones settings

It is ok now, enable or disable, enjoy it..
