how to set email & IM for Samsung Gravity

your phone comes with email functionality so you can keep  connected while you are on the go with Yahoo!®, AOL®, and other popular email providers. Setting up email on your phone is easy—all you need to do is enter your email
address and password and you will automatically receive emails from your email account directly on your phone. You can check email, send, reply, and even delete emails from your inbox so you can keep in touch whenever you want.

Here it is steps by steps guide for sign in , setting up email account email and read email message there
Sign In
1. From the main screen, select Menu.
2. Scroll to and select IM and Email.
3. Scroll to and select Email.
4. At the Welcome screen, select Next.
5. Select the email provider.
6. If required, read the terms of use and select I Agree.
7. Type your username and password.
8. Select Sign In.
Read email messages
1. From the main screen, select Menu.
2. Scroll to and select IM and Email.
3. Scroll to and select Email.
4. Select the email account.
5. Sign in to your account.
6. Scroll to and select the message to read.
Send instant messages
1. From the main screen, scroll to the myFavesSM contact
and press the OK Key.
2. Scroll to and select Send IM.
3. Select AIM®, ICQ, Windows Live™, or Yahoo!®.
4. Sign in to communicate with your myFavesSM contact
