New Samsung Champ Announced
Samsung have announced a new touchscreen handset, the Champ, but it isn’t quite their ordinary fare as it’s designed for developing markets. That mission brief is nowhere more apparent than in the screen, which come sin at 2.4″ and uses resistive technology. The Champ is to be positioned as an affordable full touchscreen option and will be aimed primarily at the youth market in the countries where it launches.
As to New Samsung Champ colors, the device will be released in a variety of colours such as deep black, espresso brown, sweet pink and chic white. In terms of features it’s actually pretty reasonable for a handset that is designed to be cheap and cheerful:
•2.4″ resistive display 240×320
•1.3 MP camera
•3.5mm headphone jack
•Bluetooth 2.1
•microSD support
It also features Samsung’s popular TouchWiz interface, which lets users stup multiple homescreens and it will also support installable Java apps from Samsung’s app market, which comes pre-installed in the handset.
