Tip #1: Opening the Widget Tray
Touching the icon in the upper left-hand side of the display opens the Widget Tray. Touching it again closes it.
Tip #2: Moving Widgets back to the Widget Tray
To move a widget, touch and hold the specific widget to be opened. To move it from the screen back to the Widget Tray, touch, hold, and drag it back in one continuous motion.
Tip #3: Automatically Saving Photos to an Optional microSD Memory Card
Users can set the phone to save pictures to the phone’s memory or automatically save them to an optional microSD memory card. To set the phone to save to the memory card, touch the Camera key on the side of the phone, then Options > Tools icon > Memory > Card.
Tip #4: Switching a Call to a Bluetooth Device
While on a call, the user can touch Menu > Bluetooth to switch the call’s sounds from the earpiece and microphone to a Bluetooth device.
Tip #5: Using easyedge City ID
City ID is an easyedge service that displays the city and state of incoming calls. To access, touch Menu > easyedge > City ID > Subscription Status > Free Trial to sign up for a free 15-day trial of the feature.
Tip #6: Buying Apps through easyedge
easyedge enables users to customize their phone with new apps. Touch Menu > easyedge > MobileShop > Catalog. Apps are organized based on categories – like games and tools. Most provide users with a description, while some provide a demo version so users can try them out. Once purchased, apps will be charged to the user’s phone bill.
Tip #7: Contact List Shortcut
When the phone is open, press and hold any of the letter keys or the Space key to go to the contact list. The user can select to have this do nothing, or open a text message, contacts, or memo pad. This can be selected under Menu > Settings > Phone Settings > QWERTY Action.
Tip #8: Unlocking the Phone
Press and hold the Lock key to unlock the phone. The user can swipe a finger across the lock screen in any direction to unlock.
Tip #9: Zooming In and Out of a Page
Users can zoom in and out of a thumbnail image by tapping and holding, then dragging the screen into the image viewer.
Tip #10: Automatically Saving Videos to an Optional microSD Memory Card
Users can set the phone to automatically save photos, videos, and/or sounds to the optional microSD memory card. Touch Menu > Settings > Memory Manager > Save Options. A menu appears that lists three headings: Pictures, Videos, and Sounds. Under each heading is an option to save on the phone or save on the card. Make the selection for each, and press the center Navigation key when finished.

In almost any application, users can touch a Small Page icon in the upper right-hand corner of the screen to launch the Options menu for that feature. For instance, press the Messaging shortcut key. In the upper right-hand corner, appears. When that is pressed, the Options menu appears, giving the user the choice to erase messages, insert quick text, and view settings.

In the camera mode, press the Quick View key on the bottom right-hand corner to view the last photo taken. Swipe left or right on the screen to view other photos.
