Hi guys! I emailed a bunch of Execs at Verizon Wireless yesterday in hopes of getting info about the Omnia 2. Surprisingly, I got a response. I REALLY appreciate the fact that they took the time to respond to me, even if I didnt like the response! LOL! It shows that they do actually care to help customers/potential customers.

Anyway, here is the response:

Nick,

Thank you for writing Lowell McAdam, President and Chief Executive Officer of Verizon Wireless. Mr. McAdam has asked me to respond to you on his behalf.

Normally, Verizon Wireless does not announce the release of a device to the public until it has been tested and approved for use on our network. I am told that the device is being tested and awaiting approval for the release but will probably not come to market until sometime early in 2010.

As for your inability to get this information from our Customer Service Department, normally these representatives to do know about devices that are in testing or plans to offer new devices until the formal release information is provided to them. This way, we can set our customers expectations accordingly. The release of this information normally does not occur until a release date is determined and training is offered.

Thanks for your interest in the Omnia 2. I hope that this information is helpful to you and that you can defer making your purchase until the Omnia 2 is released.

Sincerely,</description>
