Sprint – Samsung Instinct HD Mobile Phone User Reviews

What’s great about it: Incredible improvments to the camera and to connectivity
What’s not so great: Price and lack of included accessories, even it is HD, but it is packed lack of ONE HD Cable, so you need to pay Extra to have one HD cable
“I have upgraded from the first generation Instinct to the Instict HD and am incredibly impressed with the camera and connectivity improvments. If you have the first or second gen instincts and care little for the camera or web access, don’t bother to upgrade as the rest is nearly identical.
The web access is now suplemented with a better browser and Wi-Fi making web access far faster and easier. If the cam is your thing, this phone is top notch including a 5mp camera and 720p video recorder. While the reviews say that this phone can’t play HD video, it will replay video it has taken in HD. FM radio is not present as stated in one review. The flash is a MAJOR impovment that I have not seen since the mm-a900. It is super bright and allows decent indoor photos. Congrats Samsung, you have done well. I miss my a900 but think this phone will do well for a very long time…
Do note that the extra battery and charger “cradle”, case, and stylus are not included with this generation of Instinct as it was in the first. A 4gig micro SD card is included however.”

What’s great about it: apps; e-mailing is excellent; sleek & smooth; good audio w/headphones; “Live search” GPS; 4 G card included; 5 Mpix cam
What’s not so great: battery life is atrocious (take your charger with you)
“If you want great style with HD video and pic quality, this is your phone. It has an easy-to-use touch screen, tons of en vogue applications, wicked fast emailing (3G network) and IM, voice SMS, great alerts, TV, radio, a 4 G micro-sd card, above average MP3 sound quality when used with the headphones, good web capabilities, and great GPS (though it told me to go right once when I should have gone left– I’m sure of this glitch.) If you can overlook the atrocious battery life, get this new high-end phone. If it had some word processing capability, even minimal, it would be and A- phone, but as is I give it a B because of this deficiency and its lack of a stable battery.”
