Tip 1: Ignoring Calls with a Text Message on sprint samsung seek
When the user is unable to answer an incoming call, they can ignore the call, send it directly to voicemail, or choose Ignore with Text, a function that enables them to automatically send a caller to voicemail, while immediately sending a pre-written text message such as “I’ll call you back in 5 minutes,” “Please leave me a voicemail,” and “Sorry, I’ll call you soon.”
The user can also add custom messages to the Ignore with Text list for future use.

Users can connect with a Microsoft Exchange server to configure their Microsoft Outlook account.
- Go to Main > Email, which launches the new account wizard.
- Press Next. The Setup New Account screen appears, which gives a list of personal email account options to choose from.
- Select Gmail, for instance, to set up a personal Gmail account to the phone and follow any necessary prompts.
- To set up a work account, select Work > Microsoft Exchange.
- Type in the URL of the desired Microsoft Exchange server, which is the same address used to access the user’s work email from the web.
- Touch Next.
- Enter the user’s login information to retrieve email, contacts, and calendar data from the server.
- Users may need to contact their company’s IT department for further information on connecting with the company’s exchange server.
Tip 3: Downloadable Media and Apps
A visit to the Sprint Store via the Shopping shortcut enables users to download a variety of apps and media, such as:
- Call tones and ringers
- Free apps from GetJar
- Games
- Screen savers
- Sprint applications for chatting, entertainment, news, and more
Within the Sprint Store, users can also connect to Spanish-language media with 2Zona Latina, browse What’s New and What’s Hot, send a gift, and visit My Content Manager – an area to access files and programs previously downloaded from the user’s device or through sprint.com.
Tip 4: Making the Most of Multitasking

Multitasking lets users keep two social networking apps open at the same time and easily switch between the two via the App Manager page.
If the user is logged into their Twitter account and wants to use App Manager to check their Facebook status updates, press the Home key. Select:
- Resume to go back to the app
- Exit to close the app
- Send to Background to keep the app running but hidden
- App Manager to view the apps currently running
To use App Manager while not in either app, go to Fun > My Stuff > App Manager.
Multitasking also works to keep apps open when a call is received. If a user is listening to music or surfing the web when a call comes in, the phone sends the current app to the background and displays the incoming call. After the user has ignored or ended the call, the phone returns to the previous app.
Tip 5: Setting up One-handed Operation
Customers can choose to operate their phone by using their left hand or their right hand. To customize the one-handed operation preference, go to Main > Settings > General > One Hand Operation. Select Left Handed or Right Handed.

Let your customers know that in 2009, Samsung’s recycling programs collected more than 14.8 million pounds of mobile phones and other electronics that would have otherwise ended up in a landfill.
Tip 12: Landscape and Portrait View
