Q: When I tilt the phone horizontally, the web page doesn’t change orientation. What am I doing wrong?
A: The Orientation check box must be selected to activate the automatic orientation feature. As a default, the orientation is turned on. To access orientation settings from the workspace, open the Widget Bar. Select Settings > Display Settings > Orientation. Touch the On box below Orientation to set the phone to automatically switch orientation when the phone is rotated.
Q: How does a user install the T-Mobile HotSpot Connector to find the nearest HotSpot?
A: To install this locator:
Open the Widget Bar and touch the AppLauncher Widget.
Touch T-Mobile HotSpot Connector.
Touch Install.
Read the information screen and touch OK. The application will then download.
Q: How do users open an additional browser window?
A: When surfing the web on the Behold II, users can have more than one window open at once, and even move from window to window.
Touch and hold a link, and then select the prompt, Open in new Window. An additional window can also be opened by pressing the Menu key and then touching New Window or Windows. If New Window is selected, a new window will open. If Windows is selected, thumbnails of all browser windows are displayed, and users can choose to view a particular window just by touching it. To close any window, touch the X on the bottom right-hand corner of the thumbnail. A maximum of eight windows can be opened at once.
