Text message ringtones for the Samsung Propel

 Text message ringtones for the Samsung Propel?

I have it set up so that when certain people call they have their own ringtone, but when they text me their ringtone doesn’t work. Do the personalized rings only work when you receive a call? When someone texted me on my last phone, their ringtone would work for that as well

 ok i just found this out lol but follow these steps

1) Go to menu

2) Go to settings

3) Go to Sound Profile

4) You will see that you can set it to normal, silent, driving, or outdoor I dont think it matters but i set mine to driving. Select it.

5) At the top it will say call, message, phone. Go over to message

6) Then scroll down to Message Alert Tone. select it.

7)Then Scroll all the way down to Other Tones. Select it.
That should get you to your ringtones that you have in your phone. Select the one that you want it to play. Then select save at the bottone left corner of your screen and it should be saved…hope this helps…i just figured this out myself =)
