My friend has used 3G on his Samsung phone. It costs him at least $12 every month for the 3G function. Now he does’t want to use it any more, he asked the method to turn off the 3G for Samsung propel. How to turn off Samsung propel 3G :
1. type in: *#6984125*#
2. go to the third one called network and call settings
3. you should choose network mode
4. select one of the gsm bands, (suggest using gsm 850/900/1800/1900)
that should force your phone into using the 2g network
