Tips & Tricks: Setting mp3 file as ringtone on SGH-I637 Jack
Ref: set mp3 as ringone, Assign A Ringtone To A Contact,,ssign MP3 Files As Ringtones
setting mp3 file as ringtone can be frustrating for some at & t samsung jack users,.well, if you want to assing mp3 ringtone as ringtone for all incoming calls, that is ok, to assign mp3 as ringtone for each contact, that is ok, but you can not assign mp3 ringtones to one caller group.
Note: files less than 300 is can be setted as ringtone.
First set ringtones for all incoming calls
From the home screen, press the left soft key for Start
Press the left soft key for More
Select My Stuff
Navigate to the location of the MP3 file
Highlight the desired MP3 file, using the navigation key
Press the right soft key for Menu
Select Set as (2)
Select Ringtone (2) to confirm setting the MP3 file as the incoming call Ringtone
If prompted, press the left soft key for Yes to move the file to the My Sounds folder
To set a ringtone to a contact follow the steps below:
From the home screen, press the right soft key for Contacts
Highlight the desired Contact, saved in the phone’s memory, using the navigation key
Press the OK button to view the Contact
Press the right soft key for Menu
Select Edit (1)
Highlight Custom Ring Tone: None, using the navigation keys
Select the desired Ring Tone, using the navigation keys
Press the left soft key for Done to save the Contact changes
Note: Ring Tones can only be assigned to Contacts saved in the handset’s memory, not the SIM card
