In recent, At & t and Samsung officially announced two android device which will be released in 2011 quarter 4.- the Samsung Captivate™ Glide and Samsung DoubleTime™.
The Samsung Captivate™ Glide adds the AT&T’s premium Android smartphone lineup that includes the Samsung Infuse™ 4G, Samsung Galaxy S™ II, HTC Inspire™ 4G and LG THRILL™ 4G. It is also 4G capable,also, the device is the first android device with silder form factor for at & t. while the Samsung DoubleTime is mid-entry level device which comes with android 2.2 OS,, in compare with the Samsung Captivate™ Glide android 2.3 OS.
Running Android 2.3, the Captivate Glide features access to 4G speeds, a 4” Super AMOLED screen, 8-megapixel flash camera with HD (1080p) video recording and a front-facing camera for video chat.! Running on Android 2.2, DoubleTime boasts a white and pink color scheme and features a 3.2 MP digital camera with a camcorder, voice recognition, a dedicated function key for shortcuts, drag-and-drop widgets, five scrolling home screens and an expandable menu with scrolling panels.
