Samsung and Sprint have announced today that the Android-powered Samsung Moment (known from leaks as Instinct Q) will be available through the carrier starting November 1st. The Moment will have a side sliding QWERTY keyboard as well as offering Sprint’s first 3.2 inch AMOLED display. The phone will also feature an optical joystick, a 3.2MP camera with AF, flash and video capture, and Spri
nt TV. To make the phone up to the moment (pun intended), there will be easy access to social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook. Music buffs will be happy to know that the unit sports a 3.5mm audio jack and sports fans will drool over NFL Mobile Live and Nascar Sprint Cup Mobile. Running off a speedy 800MHz processor, the Samsung Moment will cost $179.99 after a $50 instant discount, a $100 mail-in-rebate and a 2 year contract. And as the carrier is fond of saying in its television spots, that’s what is happening at the Moment.
